Preparations for Senior Awards:  We have started preparing for this event and we discussed one possible recognition that we want to be sure we get right.  If your child has been in WCPSS K-12 and has had perfect attendance, please let us know asap.  We had a situation last year that the computer did not pull a student’s name properly and we want to avoid this.  We want deserving students to be recognized, Please let us know so we can research. You are welcome to email me directly at dlassiter@wcpss.net.

Got aluminum can tabs?  RHS student, Sterling Elliott, will be participating in the 2019 NC Youth Legislative Assembly.  YLA participates in a community service project: PICK UP the TAB! Spaghetti-O’s).  Sterling plans to set up a collection station in the cafeteria April 1-12 and April 22-June.1. Please consider donating your tabs.

College Acceptance and Scholarship Letters:  Our Student Services Department wants students to bring a copy of acceptance letters and scholarship offers to their front desk.  The counselors maintain a record of acceptance and a running total of scholarship offers for each class. It is a great opportunity to celebrate with our students as they make plans for the next steps in their lives.
