    Review

Practice ACT:  This is important to Juniors, because all Juniors will take the ACT this year.  It is a chance to test and get feedback before they take the legitimate ACT here in the winter.  The practice test is Saturday, Dec. 15, 2018 at 8 AM. Students need to register at https://goo.gl/forms/IRJRf2uPGPh0AP3V2 by Friday, November 30th..  Students will be required to bring their own pencils and calculators.  On January 11, 2019 at 6 pm we'll have our ACT review night for students who took the Practice ACT on December 15.  During the time, students will receive their scores and the consultant from collegewise will go over information regarding the test and tips as we approach the Real ACT in February.  We did this last year and it was very beneficial to a large number of our students. Keep in mind that there are free online resources to help students prepare for ACT and SAT, also. The feedback through our school practice experience will be more beneficial, but any review of strategy and practice materials can help.

Reconfiguration of Junior/Sophomore/Freshman Night - December 11th:  In the past, we have had three separate nights.  We are pitching a change-up. All three grade levels will be in one evening and it will run something like going to a conference with concurrent sessions.  There will be 30-minute sessions that you choose from and the sessions will be offered multiple times. In addition to grade-level specific sessions, we will have sessions on WTCC College and Career Prep. financial aid, ACT/SAT, college planning, military options and college representatives to answer questions.
