  • Track Change Request Period

    Monday, February 03rd – Friday, February 28th families may request a track change for the 2020-2021 school year. The ability to honor track requests will continue to be very limited. A parent/guardian may make a request online (https://goo.gl/forms/0MqL65AnuAzo9uKZ2) or in person. Requests will not be prioritized on a first come, first serve basis. Track change requests will be further limited by regional reassignment related to the opening of Parkside Elementary School.

  • Single-Subject Acceleration

    The nomination window for SSA for the 2020-2021 school year in WCPSS will open soon. If you would like your child to take an SSA assessment, the Nomination Form must be submitted in-person by the end of the school day (3:45 pm) for your child's nomination window. Schools are not able to process any nominations received after the nomination window closes. Remaining nomination windows are: Track 1 (2/24-2/28), Track 2, 3 & 4 (3/23-3/27). SSA Single Subject Acceleration (SSA) is a practice through which students meeting qualifying criteria in grades K‐7 can take advanced academic content in mathematics or English/Language Arts.   • Principal's Message Update

  • School Messenger TXT/Email Messages

    The School Messenger phone message system used by WCPSS is expanding to include text messaging and e-mail. "Opt-In" to text messages when you receive a text. Or, you can simply opt-in to receive text messages by texting YES to the number 67587 now. The expanded service calls multiple phone numbers for all associated parents/guardians. You can choose how you would like to be contacted by using the new SchoolMessenger infoCenter website or infoCenter mobile app for Android and iOS.   • Volunteer in our School!

    Online volunteer registration can be completed during school hours at any Wake County Public School building. All returning volunteers must re-register prior to October 31st to ensure that there is no break in eligibility. Prospective volunteers will submit to a background check prior to approval by WCPSS to volunteer. Volunteer clearance may take 2-3 weeks for final approval before a volunteer is eligible.

  • Here Comes the Bus! The App from WCPSS Transportation

    WCPSS Transportation uses an app for smartphones/devices to allow parents to track their assigned bus on its route. Download "Here Comes the Bus": from the App Store or Google Play. Register at https://bit.ly/2AuW9Sd with School Code 67500 and your child's Student ID.
