Longview School will provide relevant and engaging educational experiences for students while cultivating their social and emotional needs that will allow them to become more productive citizens.
Engage families and community members to help students grow, succeed, and excel.
I am originally from Elizabeth City, NC where I graduated from Elizabeth City State University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology, Pre-Med. I received my master's degree in School Administration from North Carolina State University. My first teaching experience came in an alternative setting in Chowan County where I taught math and science. I taught middle and high school science in Maryland and Virginia before making Wake County my home. My first administrative position was in 2008 at Wakefield High School’s 9th Grade Center. In 2010, I was granted the opportunity to help open Heritage High School, where I spent eight years as one of the assistant principals.
I look forward to working with the staff, students, and families, as well as partnering with the Longview community to help support our students!
