  • After-School Care at Fuller: Fuller Magnet Elementary School is proud to partner with the Southeast Raleigh YMCA for After School Care.  The YMCA will offer the afterschool program onsite at Fuller from 3:45 pm (dismissal) until 6:00 pm.  The YMCA program will also run on Early Release days for students who regularly attend the afterschool program on these days.  

    As a part of the YMCA After School Program, students will participate in:

    • Quiet, Supervised homework time
    • Creative Arts
    • Indoor and Outdoor Games
    • Sports and Specialty Clinics
    • Assembly and Snack Time

  • Update Your Bus Transportation Information for 2019-2020!  The Transportation Department has begun to prepare for the 2019-20 school year, and is contacting current bus riders by phone and email asking them to go online to make Transportation aware of their changing needs.
     
    • Families with children riding the bus to the same school next year don’t need to take any action.

    •  Families that need to update their student’s bus service needs for the 2019-20 school year, should go online at www.wcpss.net/busrider and complete the form Bus Rider Registration. 

    • Families with a student assigned to a bus but not riding the bus are asked to submit the Decline Transportation form at www.wcpss.net/declinebus so that Transportation has the family’s most up-to-date information (this ensures that bus routes are accurate and efficient at the start of the school year!).

    •  If a family needs to look at their current Transportation information, they can find it online. Up-to-date transportation information is available in their student’s Home Base/PowerSchool account. Families not currently using Home Base/Powerschool can sign up for an account at their school. More information on Home Base is available at www.wcpss.net/student-information.

  • Here Comes the Bus App is Now Available!  Your family can now use the free bus tracking system called Here Comes the Bus.  This is an easy-to-use website and app that enables you to see the location of your child's school bus on a smartphone, tablet, or personal computer.  HCTB allows you to know when the bus is near your stop.

    • You can sign up for Here Comes the Bus at https://herecomesthebus.com/getting-started/. You will need the district code and your student’s ID number to sign up.
    • The WCPSS school code is 67500.
    • For your smartphone or tablet, download the Here Comes the Bus app from the Apple App Store or Google Play.
    • Once activated, you can customize or edit certain features, including how the app will communicate with you and the size of the notification radius.
    • WCPSS Transportation makes bus substitutions when preventative maintenance is due and in response to the management of drivers. When a substitution is made, some features of the app may not work.
