The Parent Teacher Resource Center (PTRC): The Parent Teacher Resource Center is open Monday through Fridays from 8am until 5pm year round. Drop by and check out the wonderful library full of resources, including books for young children birth through kindergarten age and the adults in their lives. Wake County residents can check out books for a three-week period, but anyone is welcome to visit and browse our shelves. The Ready to Learn Program: Ready to Learn is offering FREE in-person sessions for young children ages 18 months-5 years old (and not age-eligible for kindergarten) and their families that live in Wake County. Opportunities are available for children and their families to participate together in FUN, interactive activities at home that include music and movement, arts and crafts, storytimes, and more! Parent Counseling In-Person or Virtual Services: Parenting young children can be challenging at any time particularly now.
