    Since 1969, Project Enlightenment has offered a variety of resources, prevention, consultation, and education services to families and teachers of Wake County.

    Project Enlightenment is an early childhood education and prevention program of the Wake County Public School System located in Raleigh, North Carolina. Services, resources and training are available to Wake County teachers, parents and caregivers of young children birth through kindergarten age.

    Services are tailored to strengthen parents' and teachers' skills and promote successful schools and successful children.

    Project Enlightenment promotes the optimal development of young children by providing a unique blend of quality services to the Wake County community.
    Since 1969, Project Enlightenment has offered prevention and early child development services to young children and the adults in their lives, including parents, caregivers and educators.
    We are dedicated to promoting children’s success in school and life. Our staff includes educators, child development specialists, psychologists, and counselors.
    Project Enlightenment provides a comprehensive array of early childhood services and has been recognized nationally as a model program.
