Who We Are

  • Project Enlightenment is an early childhood education and prevention program of the Wake County Public School System, serving teachers and parents of young children, ages birth through kindergarten. Download a copy of our brochure.

  • We are now accepting applications for Project Enlightenment’s half-day 5 Star Demonstration Preschool for the 2019-2020 school year. The Demonstration Preschool is an inclusive classroom of four-year-olds. There is an emphasis on social-emotional growth and learning using developmentally appropriate methods. Children are exposed to what it means to be a part of a loving and caring classroom community.

    Applications will be accepted from January 10, 2019 through February 12, 2019. A child must be four years of age on or before August 31, 2019 for enrollment. Please call 919-856-7774 for more information.
