Our first full week of the spring semester was a success! It was wonderful to see all our students faces this week and to check in on how they are doing! This quarter can feel long because of the early sunset. We encourage students to take time on the weekends to both recharge and catch up on work that may have been missed during the week.
What a wonderful last week of school for 2019! We were treated to both an evening band and orchestra concerts as well as guitar concerts throughout the week. The staff was treated to a holiday treats cart made possible by the generosity of our families. Finally, the students celebrated a quarter of accomplishments with our ROAR Assembly where the 7th grade claimed the Spirit Stick!
Can you imagine, this is the last week of the fall semester! Moore Square will be closed from December 23rd through January 2nd for winter break. Classes will resume on Friday, January 3rd. While this is the last week of the quarter, it is a busy week filled with concerts, final lessons, labs, presentations and celebrations. As a reminder, report cards will be distributed to students on Friday.
The first is the 8-week GAPS program starting Feb. 29. The second is an online GIS mapmaking competition for students in grades 4-12.
The Office of Student Assignment will host two events to assist families with: address changes, pre-registration for 2020-2021 school year and magnet, year-round and transfer applications.
