  • NCSU ROTC Shadow Day

    NCSU ROTC Shadow Day is being hosted on 11/6/19 from 8:00 -3:00 . This event is a unique opportunity for high school students to see what a day in the life of an Air Force ROTC cadet is like. Whether interested in attending NC State or not, this opportunity will give participants a general idea of what being in AFROTC is like at a prestigious university.   • Class T-shirts

    Class T-shirts will be on sale Tuesday, October 22 through Thursday, October 24th during all 3 lunches in the commons. T-shirts are $10, cash only. Shirt designs can be seen under Wakefield News to the Left. If you need a size other than S, M, L, or XL, please see Ms. Bentley in Room 3214 with your $10 by Tuesday, October 8th.

  • Park Scholarships

    Wakefield High School can endorse 2 seniors for the North Carolina State University Park Scholarships. Applications are now available in Student Services and are due no later than Thursday, October 10th at 8am.   • Attention Juniors and Seniors

    Any Junior or Senior not on campus during 4th period yesterday and missed the Josten's meeting, please stop by Student Services to pick up a packet to order your class ring or your cap and gowns. Josten's will be on campus next week to take orders!

  • NC Hispanic College Fund Scholarship

    The North Carolina Hispanic College Fund is now accepting scholarship applications from Hispanic students on the NCSHP website at www.thencshp.org. Seniors of NC high schools who are of Hispanic/Latino background and who plan to enroll in a either a community college/2 year/or 4yr degree program are eligible. Applicants must also demonstrate a commitment to public service and community development. Deadline is January 15, 2020. See Ms. Ansbacher in Student Services if you have questions.

  • Wake Tech CCP Information Session

    Wake Tech CCP Information Session Dates for Spring 2020 enrollment are now available.   • PSATs

    The PSAT allows 11th grade students the opportunity to potentially qualify for a National Merit scholarship if they receive a very high score (generally the top 1%). For this reason, WCPSS is offering the test free of charge to those students with a weighted GPA of 4.3125 or higher.  Students with a weighted GPA below 4.3125 are eligible to pay a $17 fee for taking the test.  Online payments may be made on our website. The PSAT will be given at Wakefield High School on October 16, 2019 at 7:30 am.  The registration deadline is September 13, 2019. http://wakefieldhstesting.weebly.com/
