  • Food Pantry

    We know that it's been difficult lately to find staple food items in the stores. If you are in need of basic, non perishable foods our food pantry at Wakefield is newly stocked from our friends at the Tri Area Ministry Pantry. Please let someone in Student Services know and you can take a box home.

  • Webb Technology Contest

    Local HS students can win a trip to the Washington D.C. area this summer by applying for the Webb Technology Contest. Wake Electric will choose two HS students to receive an all-expense-paid day trip to the Steven F. Udvar-Hazy Center in greater Washington D.C. on June 16, 2020. To apply, students must choose one of four essay topics and complete an online form https://form.jotform.com/193596139418167 Application deadline is March 31, 2020.

  • The Hannah Viall Memorial Scholarship

    The Hannah Viall Memorial Scholarship was established to honor Heritage HS student, Hannah Viall's, kindness and compassion to all. Wakefield HS seniors with a minimum 3.0 GPA and who have been accepted to an accredited 2-yr or 4-yr college/uni can apply for this $2500 scholarship.   • Attention Juniors

    A new law now requires all rising seniors to have the Meninogoccal Vaccination before 1st day of school of their senior year. Once completed the school will need a copy of the paperwork.   • PTSA Scholarships

    Wakefield High School PTSA will award 10 $800 scholarships as well at 2 $500 ThinkFirst scholarships in 2020. Wakefield High School PTSA Senior Scholarship Applications are online (PTSA website and Facebook). All applications and additional requirements are due by April 17th . You and your parent must be PTSA members and the deadline for membership has been extended from January 31st to February 29th. Please contact scholarship@wakefieldhsptsa.org for more information.

    All Senior fees that were not paid by the deadline are not a fine and can only be paid for in the Media Center in cash. Please be aware that if a senior has any outstanding fees they will not receive tickets to graduation until they are paid in full.
