Upcoming Events

  • Fall Exam Update:

    The Exam schedule will resume Monday, January 22, 2018. We will only be testing students who are enrolled in English II and Math I. Tuesday’s exams are only for students enrolled in Biology. All make up exams will be held Wednesday, January 24, 2018 for all subjects. If a student does not have an exam, they are not required to come to school.

  • Air Force ROTC Shadow Day

    NCSU is hosting an Air Force ROTC Shadow Day on Wednesday March 28th from 8:00 AM until 5:00 PM. This a unique opportunity for students who are interested in seeing what a day in the life of an Air Force ROTC cadet while balancing the expectations of college. This opportunity will give participants a general idea of what being in AFROTC is like for any school around the nation. Registration is limited. See Mrs. Joyner for an application. Application deadline is March 21st.

  • Permission to Leave Early after Exams

    If you are exempted from either a 2nd or 4th period class, in order to leave campus after your 1st or 3rd period exam, you must have a completed form to turn in before leaving campus. This form contains all the information about this process. Please Click Here to download the form.

  • Are you thinking about becoming a Pilot?

    Would you like to attend a camp to learn more about the profession for free? There is a 6-day overnight camp at the National Flight Academy in Pensacola, FL. The Delta sponsored JA camp week is June 17 through June 22. Please see Mrs. Joyner in student services for more information and application. The deadline to apply is January 29th.

  • NCSU's Shelton Leadership Challenge

    NCSU's Shelton Leadership Challenge - Summer 2018 "The Shelton Challenge is a six-day residential experience to help students expand their knowledge and skills of what it takes to be a leader. https://sheltonleadership.ncsu.edu/youth-shelton-challenge/. Requirements: 9-12th grades, GPA of 3.0 or better (If you do not meet this requirement and would like to still apply because you believe this will be a great program, please write a brief statement explaining your reasons)

  • Bank of America Student Leaders Program

    Bank of America Student Leaders Program is an 8 week program here in Wake County with a non-profit and working 35 hours per week. During the eighth week, the students will attend an all expense paid trip to a week long "Student Leaders Summit in Washington D.C." The conference is July 8-13, 2018.   • College Help

    If you are a first generation college student or ESL student and are having trouble figuring out how to apply to college, please see Ms. T in Student Services to sign up for a special group. A translator will be available.

  • Absences

    Starting this Thursday, December 7th, students who have close to 10 or more unexcused absences should see a counselor on Tuesdays and Thursdays during lunch in the commons area for information on how to make up the time.
