  • Drivers Ed

    The December Drivers Ed class begins on Tuesday, December 3, at 2:30 in the Media Center. Rosters are posted outside Student Services and room 2314. See Mr. Tharrington with any questions regarding Drivers Ed.

  • Stress Reduction Techniques

    If you do not have to go to Pride Time and you want to learn some stress reductions techniques, please go to the Collaborative Area on the 300 hall for Pride Time on December 3rd! Ms. T will be there to help you!

  • Accommodations on the ACT

    Students taking the ACT at Wakefield High School on February 25, 2020 who want to utilize their accommodations outlined in their educational plan will need to submit a consent form. This form needs to be submitted  to the testing coordinator, Amy Russell (arrussell@wcpss.net), by January 3, 2020.  Without the submitted consent form, approval for utilizing accommodations will not be granted by ACT. This is the first step in the accommodation approval process.

  • Hugh O'Brien Youth Leadership Conference

    Sophomores, each year Wakefield selects one sophomore to attend the Hugh O'Brien Youth Leadership conference and serve as our HOBY Ambassador. This is a 3-day leadership program held at NC State, if you would like more information or an application, please see Mr. Walker in Student Services.

    Wake Forest University's Summer Immersion Program offers hands-on institutes in 19 areas, including: Law, Sports Marketing, Medicine, Business, Leadership, Technology, Biosciences + Engineering, Sports Med, Finance, Psychology, Health + Exercise Science, Animation, Virtual Reality.
