  • THE GIFTED AND TALENTED PATHWAY

Magnet Pathways are designed to offer students a continuum of courses throughout elementary, middle, and high school. The Gifted and Talented theme at Zebulon Gifted and Talented Magnet Middle school nurtures the unique gifts and talents of all students by offering a wide variety of electives that deepen understandings established in the elementary GT setting, as well as prepare students for the GT courses in high school. In addition, the unique Advanced Studies and STEM components of our magnet theme offer students schoolwide opportunities to solve real world problems through the design thinking process. Through both CORE and elective classes, students engage in design thinking quests to further enhance their academic experience. Our elective options support Common Core and NC Essential Standards. Students are supported and challenged with rigorous and relevant coursework that meets their individual needs. Learn more about the Gifted and Talented Magnet Pathway.

  • OUR GIFTED AND TALENTED THEME

The Gifted & Talented Theme is based on the belief that every child has gifts and talents to be valued and nurtured. At ZGTMMS, we offer an abundance of course options for students to explore. Our school’s rigorous and innovative core and elective courses foster deeper understanding and exploration within content areas that interest students most. In addition, we are the only middle school in the county that also offers a STEM and Advanced Studies component embedded throughout all classes. Students learn to use the design thinking process to see, act, and engage in creating solutions for real world problems that make their learning come alive. We are nurturing brilliance, igniting curiosity, and engineering tomorrow at Zebulon GT Magnet Middle School: Center for Advanced Studies and STEM!
