Single Subject Acceleration (SSA) is the practice of placing a student in a higher-grade level in one subject area. This type of acceleration is for the purpose of providing access to appropriately challenging learning opportunities in either math or English Language Arts. Current kindergarten through 7th grade students can be tested for SSA. Parents can request SSA testing by filling out this google form during the test request window: February 22-March 22. A "virtual" informational parent meeting was held on Tuesday, March 2 at 6:30pm. Here is a copy of the power point presentation. Email Mrs. Barbour, email@example.com for a link to the google meeting or for any questions.

#PositivityInAction is the motto, hashtag, and the spirit of the movement of the Positivity Project. We also use #OtherPeopleMindset to remind us that considering others is the best way to build positive relationships.
