Registration for Rolesville Elementary's Girls on the Run program is now open! Girls on the run is a physical activity, positive youth development program designed to enhance girls' social, psychological and physical competencies to successfully navigate life experiences. The program is designed for girls in grades 3-5. The season runs from Feb. 3-April 25 with a 5K on April 25. Rolesville practice times with be Mondays and Thursdays from 4:00-5:15. Congratulations to the classroom spelling bee winners and runners-up! The school wide spelling bee for the classroom winners and runners-up for grades 2/3 will be on December 11, 2019 at 9:30am in the media center. The school wide spelling bee for the classroom winners and runners-up for grades 4/5 (and the winner and runner-up from the 2/3 school wide bee) will be January 16, 2020 at 6:00pm in the media center. The first is the 8-week GAPS program starting Feb. 29. The second is an online GIS mapmaking competition for students in grades 4-12.
The Office of Student Assignment will host two events to assist families with: address changes, pre-registration for 2020-2021 school year and magnet, year-round and transfer applications.
