Diversify Architecture [DA]

Have you ever wondered who is designing your world? Architects and other design professionals work to create the buildings, neighborhoods, and parks in which we live and play.
In [DA] clubs, you will become a designer, gaining skills that Architects use on a daily basis and learning about the professionals that build the world around us. Along the way, you will interact with real Architects and find out what it takes to become one yourself! (all club meetings partner with Germano Architecture + Interiors of Zebulon)

FCCLA is a nonprofit national career and technical student organization for young men and women in Family and Consumer Sciences education. This club is perfect for students who are passionate about Family and Consumer Science and want to explore student leadership, service learning, and become more active in the school and community. Looking for ZMS girls who enjoy Science, Engineering, Technology & Math!
ZMS has been very fortunate to participate in the North Carolina Museum of Natural Sciences -Girls in Science Program for seven years. Topics have included wetlands, birds, classification of plants, and animals, DNA extraction, and a focus on science careers. This program addresses a need to encourage more girls to choose STEM careers.

This club is perfect for students who have a specific interest in history and social studies. In the History Fair, students spend two quarters working on individual or group research projects and presentations. Students choose whatever topic interests them that fits the National History Day theme for the year. This club offers an opportunity for regional, state, and national competition levels.

The purpose of HOSA-Future Health Professionals is to develop leadership and technical HOSA skill competencies through a program of motivation, awareness, and recognition, which is an integral part of the Health Science Education instructional program. North Carolina Science Olympiad (NCSO) is a nonprofit organization with the mission to attract and retain the pool of K-12 students entering science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM) degrees and careers in North Carolina. This is a great club for students who are interested in exploring more about STEM.
Students will compete in a regional tournament on a Saturday in February or March. -
