Fuller Magnet Elementary returns to Raleigh with a new space to grow
October 25, 2022
Students at Fuller Magnet Elementary School can now learn inside a brand new building tailored to fit their needs! Whether it's the theater room, band rehearsal space, or the dance studio designed for growing dancers, Fuller's new home has everything kids need to explore their talents!
Staff, students, and community members celebrated the opening of the new Fuller Magnet Elementary at the school's ribbon cutting ceremony on October 25. Speakers at the event included Superintendent Catty Moore, District 4 Board of Education member Tara Waters, and even Fuller's first principal, Alfred Perry. Guests were also treated to a special performance by the kindergarten choir and the unveiling of a custom art piece for the school's entry!
This renovation project was completed as part of our Continuous Building Program, and was funded entirely by community-approved Capital Improvement Plan bonds. With an initial budget of $34,180,783; the project was finished with a final cost of $31,009,648.
