Alston Ridge Elementary School is a capped school; however, our school continues to register students in most grades to provide families immediate enrollment. School enrollment caps limit the number of students who can attend the school in each grade to ensure that building capacity and class size limits are maintained in high-growth communities. Individual class sizes remain the same or smaller than schools without an enrollment cap. If a student is registered to begin school in a grade that has an enrollment cap, the student may be assigned to attend the overflow school designated by the WCPSS Office of Student Assignment. More information about school capping is available at https://www.wcpss.net/Page/33756 or by calling the school.
We are thrilled to welcome a new class of Alston Ridge gators to the 2025 - 2026 school year! Please review the following information as you prepare for your student’s Kindergarten Staggered Entry, Meet the Teacher Visit, and First Day of School.
