For those that do not have an email address on file,  a link will be provided to take the survey during the month of April. The survey period is from March 25 - May 3, 2019.

6th Annual Career/College/Military Fair & Expo on Tuesday, April 30th!  We will be hosting a joint Career Fair with the Rolesville Chamber of Commerce.  During the school day, students will have the opportunity to network with colleges, military, businesses and local community members at the Fair during their 3rd and 4th periods (10:30 AM - 2:00 PM).  At dismissal, we will host various sessions on college prep, business topics & healthy lifestyle tips that will be open to students, parents and community individuals. When the sessions are taking place, the Main Gym will turn over into a business expo for the Rolesville community (3:00 PM - 5:30 PM).

Got aluminum can tabs?  RHS student, Sterling Elliott, will be participating in the 2019 NC Youth Legislative Assembly.  YLA participates in a community service project: PICK UP the TAB! This is a fundraiser that collects thousands of dollars for the Ronald McDonald House programs simply by collecting tabs from the aluminum beverage or food cans in any containers (ex. Spaghetti-O’s).  Sterling plans to set up a collection station in the cafeteria April 1-12 and April 22-June.1. Please consider donating your tabs.

Preparations for Senior Awards:  We have started preparing for this event and we discussed one possible recognition that we want to be sure we get right.  If your child has been in WCPSS K-12 and has had perfect attendance, please let us know asap.  We had a situation last year that the computer did not pull a student’s name properly and we want to avoid this.  We want deserving students to be recognized, Please let us know so we can research. You are welcome to email me directly at dlassiter@wcpss.net.

Driver Ed Forms:  We normally keep copies at the front desk and on the first floor of the cafeteria.  Presently, Jordan Driving School is not taking forms. A new form became available April 7th.

Spring Semester Exams:  Remember that they begin on June 5th and run through June 11th.  We will release the schedule soon. We are trying to make sure that we have everything workable as graduation rehearsal at the Raleigh Convention Center is the afternoon of the 5th.  We are looking at the best way to manage that date with two major things happening.

Graduation Date and Time:  I just want to remind you that RHS graduates at Raleigh Convention Center on Friday, June 14th at 8 AM.

It is a great opportunity to celebrate with our students as they make plans for the next steps in their lives.
