    Junior Meetings - continued:  Student services will be facilitating Junior meetings on Monday, November 27 with students who missed their scheduled meeting last week.

    Early Release Day:  Tuesday, Nov. 21st at 11:45 AM

    Boston Butt Pickup:  Tuesday, Nov. 21st from 1-5 PM

    Thanksgiving Break:  Wednesday - Friday, November 22-24

    CTE Workkeys Assessments:  These assessments are required for students who are concentrators.  The assessments begin on Nov. 27th.

    WRAL Brain Games w/ RHS in the House:   Saturday, Nov. 25.  Check the morning listings.  I do not have the time handy.

    Brick Signing:  On Friday, our Athletes of the Week named through point of the year were invited to sign a brick to remember their selection.  The athletes invited were: Ahunna Akpuda, Jade Houston, Randi Vedeld, Diana Sanchez-Lopez, Camryn Straughn, Malinda Bullock, Emma Harris, Mahala Treish, Ethan Boyd, Rasran Amon, Jalen Duran, Josh Jarvis, Muburaq Usman, Keshon Kelly, Jonathan Donan-Cordon, Mustapha Kamara.

    What Every Tech Healthy Family Needs to Know:  In partnership with the Wake PTA Council, Instructional Technology and Library Media Services is sponsoring a parent event entitled "What Every Tech Healthy Family Needs to Know." As a part of our fall Convergence, our opening keynote speaker, Janell Burley Hofmann (author of iRules: What Every Tech Healthy Family Needs to Know about Selfies, Sexting, Gaming, and Growing Up) will speak to parents on November 27th from 6:30-7:30 pm at the McKimmon Center at NCSU. Attached you will find the invitation to parents. Please feel free to share this with your parents and teachers. There is limited space and registration is required (http://bit.ly/wcpsstech).

    Jobs Success 101- Rescheduled:  Students who live in the Wake Forest area are invited to the first annual Jobs Success 101 training seminar sponsored by the Wake Forest Chamber Foundation.  The seminar is scheduled for students on February 22, 2018 from 8:30-1:30 p.m. Since this is a school day, students would be required to have signed parent permission forms to miss a school day. The space is limited to 100 students.     Senior Yearbook Ad Information:   It has been posted to our RHS homepage.

    NHS tutoring at lunch time will start on November 5 during A and B lunch three times per week on Monday, Tuesday and Thursday.  Teachers register students to get help.

    Interested in becoming a teacher?   Attend ECU’s College of Education Teach Day on Saturday, December 2, 2017.  This event will be held on the campus of East Carolina University.  You must register.  Stop by Student Services to pick up registration information.
