• Registration for classes for the 2017 - 2018 School Year

    The date for current SRMHS students (rising 10-12) to begin selecting courses for next school year will be announced soon.  Students will be working with their counselors, teachers, and parents to select appropriate courses that lead toward completion of graduation requirements.  Course Selection Guide Link

    Claim Your Account  Beginning July, 2015, access to HomeBase/Powerschool REQUIRED the process of claiming your account through NCEdCloud.  If you have not accessed your Powerschool account this school year, you must claim your account before proceeding to the Powerschool instructions below.

    Course Selection Worksheets:  Students should use these forms for planning course selections.  Review your selections with parents and teachers prior to your class session with the counselors.

    Whom To Ask   Provides a quick one-page guide to faculty and staff who oversee particular programs.  See the people on this list if you have a question about a program or class.

    Parental Waiver of Teacher Recommendation:  Students wishing to take a core class they were NOT recommended for (i.e. Honors English and recommended for Academic) should select the class they were recommended for and print and complete the waiver form.  Turn in the waiver form with your registration verification sheet to your LA.  

    Advanced Placement (AP) Contract:  Students are encouraged to challenge themselves academically and may be interested in taking Advanced Placement courses.  SRMHS offers 18 AP courses. Students are challenged to complete college level work and may earn college credit with successful scores on AP exams.  To learn more about AP classes, visit the College Board website.

    Rising 9th Grade Information

     
    **Rising 9th grade students will register at their current middle school.  Parents with questions about course selections should contact the middle school counselor at their child's school.
