SRMHS Family Connections for SRMHS Students and Families in Need
Southeast Raleigh Magnet High School now has a food pantry for any SRMHS or southeastern Raleigh family in need. The pantry is called "SRMHS Family Connections," and has meat, fruit, vegetables, and non-perishable food items. Food is provided by the Interfaith Food Shuttle of Wake County. There is no charge for items and the service is confidential. SRMHS Family Connections is available for SRMHS students, their immediate families and families in the southeastern region of Raleigh. Family Connections Hours are drop in on Tuesdays and Fridays from 8:00-10am or an appointment can be made for a different time by calling Marcelle Pettis (919-856-2800 x 24996).

La Escuela Secundaria Southeast Raleigh Magnet ahora ofrece una tienda para cualquier familia de SRMHS en necesidad. La tienda se llama "Connecciones de Familia SRMHS." En esta tienda, se le ofrece suministros escolares, carne, frutas, verduras y alimentos no perecederos. La comida es donada por el Transporte Interconfesional del condado de Wake. No hay cargos por articulos y el servicio es confidencial. Connecciones de Familia SRMHS esta disponible para los estudiantes de SRMHS y su familia inmediata. Students in the graduating class of 2018, that meet the following criteria are encouraged to apply:
* A student who has overcome challenges and can articulate education and career actions
* Students must have a composite ACT score of a 22 on a single test date or a 3.0 or greater on a 4.0 scale
*Preference will be given to underrepresented and/or first-generation college students

To enroll a new student: Contact Student Services at 919-856-2800, ext. 24982 to schedule an appointment. All paperwork MUST be completed prior to your appointment. We will not be able to enroll students with incomplete paperwork. You can come to the school to pick up a packet or download the forms from the Wake County Public Schools website. Summer enrollment hours may vary, please see school web page for days and time.Students are able to earn credit for a course without spending a set number of hours taking the course in a classroom. Under the state's CDM option, uniquely qualified students may “test out” or bypass a course if they have already mastered the content. The program provides another opportunity for students to learn new content, to challenge themselves with the next level of rigor in a subject, and even graduate early. Career & College Promise @ Wake Tech Community CollegeThe CCP program began in 2013 to provide dual enrollment educational options for Qualified students in order to accelerate the completion of college credentials. Interested students MUST attend a mandatory information session where they will learn about options, eligibility, and the process of registering for college courses.Students interested in taking a course at Wake Tech Community College in the Fall, 2016 or Spring, 2017 semester are required to attend an information session at Wake Tech. Transcript RequestsAll transcript requests are to go through the WCPSS main website. Transcript requests are not taken at the school. Please click the Transcripts link on the left menu for full instructions.Seniors should be sure they request a final transcript to be sent to the school of their choice and NCAA, if applicable. North Carolina colleges will automatically receive final transcripts if they were requested at any time through out the school year through CFNC.
