The Board of Education approved the following changes at its April 25, 2023 meeting:

Interim Principals:

• Luther R. Thomas - Retiree to Interim Principal at North Garner Middle

Assistant Principals:

• Britney Chambers - Applicant to Assistant Principal at Briarcliff Elementary 
• Charlie Howell III - Applicant to Assistant Principal at Holly Springs High
• Chrystal Holland - Teacher/Intervention Coordinator at Holly Ridge Middle to Assistant Principal at South Garner High
• Crystal Mosley - Teacher at Holly Ridge Middle to Assistant Principal at Apex Friendship High
• James Baughan - Assistant Principal at Holly Springs High to Assistant Principal at Apex Friendship High
• Lock Whiteside III - Assistant Principal at Garner Magnet High to Assistant Principal at Broughton Magnet High
• Michael MacGovern - Assistant Principal at Broughton Magnet High to Assistant Principal at Willow Spring High
• Sara Morey - Assistant Principal at Leesville Road High to Assistant Principal at Willow Spring High
• Valencia McCoy - Applicant to Assistant Principal at East Garner Magnet Middle
