Safe Schools Tip Line
The tip line is a proactive way to help prevent and stop violence at school. Tip line calls go to the WCPSS Alarm Monitoring Center. A specially trained operator will receive the caller’s information and ask for additional information to take care of the situation.
Call the Tip Line to report:
- Threats of violence
- Aggressive behavior
- Weapons on campus
- Drugs or alcohol on campus
- Harassment
- Vandalism
- Suicide threats
- Anything else harmful to school
At the end of the call, the operator will ask if the caller wants a call back about steps taken to address the situation reported. Callers may remain anonymous. WCPSS Security and schools act on information provided by callers.
The tip line provides a proactive way to report threats of violence and any other safety concerns about school. By using the tip line responsibly, students can play a valuable role in preventing violence at school. The tip line is strictly for reporting safety concerns.
