2024-25 Enrollment Proposal
Final Draft Approved
The Board approved the final draft of the 2024-25 enrollment plan on Nov. 21. This year's student assignment proposal focuses on the opening of Woods Creek Elementary in July 2024. In addition, the proposal includes base assignment changes, calendar application changes and recommended stability rules in order to relieve capped/overcrowded schools and fill underutilized schools. These changes will provide an opportunity for students to attend a less crowded school and to have shorter bus routes. Some families affected by this plan will be able to request a stability transfer starting Nov. 29 to stay at their current school without district-provided transportation. Check if your address is affected.
Draft 2
On Oct. 17, staff members presented the second draft of the 2024-25 Student Enrollment Proposal to the Board of Education. Watch the presentation. There are no additional recommended changes for Draft 2 of the proposal.
An additional virtual information session has been scheduled for Oct. 24 to discuss any additional questions or feedback that families may have.

Draft 1
On September 19, 2023, staff members presented the first draft of a new Student Enrollment Proposal to the Board of Education. The proposal includes proposed school assignment changes for the 2024-25 school year. Overall, we anticipate that only a very small percentage of students will be affected by this proposal. This is the beginning of a community conversation that is scheduled to conclude with the school board adopting a final plan on November 21. Watch the presentation on YouTube.
Why is this proposal necessary?
This year's student assignment proposal focuses on the opening of Woods Creek Elementary in July 2024. In addition, the proposal includes base assignment changes, calendar application changes and recommended stability rules in order to relieve capped/overcrowded schools and fill underutilized schools. These changes will provide an opportunity for students to attend a less crowded school and to have shorter bus routes.
The Board will also discuss options that allow families affected by this proposal the opportunity to apply for a stability transfer and remain at their current school without district transportation. Review the stability rules.
