Board names new principal at Forestville Road Elementary

The Board of Education approved the following changes at its Sept. 3, 2024 meeting: 

Principal

• Alexis Hyatt, Assistant Principal at Baileywick Elementary to Principal at Forestville Road Elementary

Interim Principals

• Nanette Lavery, Retiree to Interim Principal at Stough Magnet Elementary

• John Williams, Retiree to Interim Principal at Herbert Akins Road Elementary

Assistant Principals

• Kevin Dalton, Applicant to Assistant Principal at River Bend Middle
• Tawanna Styles, Coordinating Teacher, Special Education Services to Assistant Principal at North Garner Middle

Interim Assistant Principal

• Douglas Cox, Retiree to Interim Assistant Principal at Holly Grove Elementary
