Wake County leaders gathered in southern Wake County to break ground for the new Woods Creek Elementary School. The new school is expected to open in spring 2023 as swing space for Baucom Elementary, which will be undergoing renovations. Then, it will open as the new Woods Creek Elementary in summer 2024.
