Transition and Community Agency Fair on Nov. 7 for middle and high school students with special needs

It's time once again for our Transition and Community Agency Fairs!

Middle and high school students with special needs and their families are invited to Garner Magnet High School, 2101 Spring Drive in Garner, on Nov. 7 from 4:30-7:30 p.m.

The event will:

• Increase awareness of local organizations that offer support and enhance the quality of life for students with disabilities and their families;
• Engage with representatives from a diverse array of agencies and explore the variety of services they provide;
• Offer informative presentations regarding guardianship options and other adult services available following high school.

If you can't make this fair, there will be others offered this school year, including:

• Jan. 21 at Apex High School, 3-7 p.m.
• Feb. 6th at Cary High School, 5-7:30 p.m.
