Child Nutrition Hero: Kimberly Rajnish at Timber Drive Elementary

We're kicking off Farm-to-School Month by highlighting some of our CNS Heroes! Our next spotlight is Kimberly Rajnish, CNS Manager at Timber Drive Elementary. She has been with Child Nutrition for 19 years. This role allows her to provide nutritious meals to students and staff while giving her the opportunity to educate and connect with students. Rajnish's favorite part is knowing that we make a difference. "I believe delicious food, kindness, and involvement go a long way," she said.

A typical day for her starts early and is fast paced. "We must keep moving to make sure service flows smoothly. Having a great staff and supportive administration is also an important part of my day," she said. When she is not working, she enjoys walking, exercising with friends, and spending time with family.

"Ms. Kim (as we call her) is amazing! She makes breakfast and lunch an exciting part of all students' day!, said Principal Brandon Warren. "She goes above and beyond to ensure the cafeteria is an inclusive and welcome space for all. In addition, she helps teach nutrition lessons and even leads our Pack on Track run club! She is ALL-IN each and every day."
