Board names new assistant principals at two schools

The Board of Education approved the following changes at its November 7, 2023 meeting:

Interim Principals

• H. Allen Ellzey, Retiree to Interim Principal at West Lake Elementary
• Kevin L. Hill, Retiree to Interim Principal at Lynn Road Elementary

Assistant Principals

• Anita McAuley, Assistant Principal at Lincoln Heights Elementary to Assistant Principal at Willow Springs Elementary
• Christopher Oakley, Applicant to Assistant Principal at Durant Road Middle

Interim Assistant Principals

• Charles Langley, Retiree to Interim Assistant Principal at Heritage High
• Debra Pearce, Retiree to Interim Assistant Principal at Wendell Elementary
• Douglas Cox, Retiree to Interim Assistant Principal at Abbotts Creek Elementary
• Kimberly Mitchell, Retiree to Interim Assistant Principal at Southeast Raleigh Elementary
