Degrees and Certifications:

Erin Lawrence

I am so excited to be a part of the Centennial Campus Magnet Middle School community and serve as an Assistant Principal. I was born and raised in Arizona and completed my undergraduate at Northern Arizona University. After college I spent a few years working in the private sector before going back to school for elementary education.

Over the past 22 years in public education I have had the opportunity to teach at various grade levels, serve as a Math Coach, Intervention Coordinator and an Instructional Facilitator. In 2006 I received my Masters in Curriculum and Instruction and in 2018 I completed my Add-On Administration Licensure at University of North Carolina Wilmington.

Prior to joining the Centennial family, I served as a Title I Coordinating Teacher for Wake County Public Schools. Each of these roles has provided me multiple perspectives of how to best serve students, staff and families. I am passionate about supporting and growing teachers to ensure all students meet their full potential through engaging and rigorous instruction.  I am also dedicated to building strong partnerships with all stakeholders to increase student achievement.

When I am not working, I enjoy spending time with my husband and our two children. We love being outside, trips to the beach and watching our son play football.
