Hello! I am originally from the evergreen state of Washington. I studied art in New York where I received a Bachelor’s of Science in Art and Education from Houghton College. I had the opportunity to work as a camp counselor in West Virginia and Maryland in the summers and traveled to Zimbabwe to work in a remote village with orphans. I began my teaching career in 2016 in Washington state, teaching middle school art at Kilo Middle School, and then moved to Kentucky where I taught art at North Hardin High School for three years. After my husband transitioned careers from active duty military to reserves we decided to move closer to family in North Carolina. I love living in the sunny south! In my free time I love to read, paint and work with clay. I am so excited to be a part of the Centennial Campus family and share my joy of art with every student!
