Hello Seventh Grade Community! This will be my first year at Centennial and my eighth year in education.  I am a licensed school counselor and therapist.  

Fundamentally, I believe that all human beings have the ability and resources to become their full potential.  Full potential, for me and our relationship, means that all of your talents, abilities, and creative juices can come together so that your thoughts and actions can be harmonious and a service to yourself and the world around you.

In my own life I practice mindfulness based meditation, yoga, birding, hiking, and love dog walks with my dog.  I am a former high school science teacher, and I have taught in small rural communities as well as larger districts.  I have an undergraduate degree in sociology and a masters degree in school counseling from North Carolina State University.
