University Connections and Leadership Magnet SchoolUtilizing instruction and learning that is supported by 21st century leadership and technology, students at Centennial Campus Magnet Middle School use critical thinking and are encouraged to take initiative and assume leadership roles within the school. Students interact regularly with students and professors from the ten colleges at North Carolina State University as well as its corporate and government partners on Centennial Campus through campus-based learning experiences, lectures, demonstrations, job shadowing and internships.
We pride ourselves by allowing our students to learn and grow through our magnet essentials:
- Emphasis on leadership and character development based on principles of Dr. Stephen Covey (7 Habits of Highly Effective People)
- Innovative and collaborative experiences through a network of business and university partnerships on NC State and Centennial Campus
- Blended, digital environment offering students a platform for creative problem solving and design
