I am so excited to be a part of the Centennial Campus Magnet Middle School community!  Originally, I am from Virginia, but I moved to North Carolina after college and have been here ever since!  I have a Bachelor of Science in elementary education from Drexel University as well as a Master of Education in language and literacy (K - 12) from UNCW. My teaching career began in 2017, and since then, I have taught ELA in fifth, seventh, and eighth grades.  I love all things literacy and have a passion for connecting current events and personal experiences into our class discussions.  When I am not working, I enjoy walking trails, yoga, reading, pop-up markets, and trying new coffee shops.  I am looking forward to getting to know everyone and having a great year!
