Degrees and Certifications:

Missi Foster

Hello and welcome to the Grey Wolves team!  This is my second year at Centennial and I hope you grow to love it as much as I do!  During my 20+ years in education, I have served as an instructional coach, a fourth and fifth grade teacher, and a special education teacher.  I started my career with Wake County Schools, but I have also taught in Pitt County, Randolph County, Asheboro City, and Guilford County.  I was excited about moving back to Raleigh last year! 😊

I received my undergraduate degree in Special Education from Appalachian State University and my Master’s Degree from East Carolina University.  I am certified in special education, elementary education, and K-6 math education.

I am happily married and I have three young adult children, ages 20, 24, and 27.  When I am not in the classroom, I enjoy running, reading, traveling, spending time at the beach and watching college football.

I am excited to meet all of you and I look forward to spending the year helping our new grey wolves learn and grow as mathematicians! :)
