Greetings! I am from the sunshine state of Florida. In 2001, I began my teaching career at Durham School of the Arts where I taught modern and West African dance. I then progressed to West Cary Middle School, East Millbrook Magnet Middle School, and Lumberton High School. While living in Miami, Florida, I taught at Alexander Montessori School as well as AileyCamp Miami. I toured nationally with Chuck Davis’ African American Dance Ensemble under the esteemed leadership of gone, but never forgotten Dr. Chuck “Baba” Davis. In my class, I will continue his motto of “Peace, Love, and Respect” for everybody.  When I am not dancing, I love to watch movies, eat popcorn, and converse with my teenage children about LIFE. I am absolutely thrilled to join the Centennial family and look forward to an amazing year!
