Board names three new assistant principals

The Board of Education approved the following changes at its March 19, 2024 meeting: 

Assistant Principals

• Yasmaine Croom, Applicant to Assistant Principal/Instructional Facilitator at East Garner Elementary
• Michele Eisenberg, Instructional Facilitator at Ballentine Elementary to Assistant Principal at Apex Friendship Elementary
• Jennifer Pride, Assistant Principal Intern at North Forest Pines Elementary to Assistant Principal at Durant Road Middle

Interim Assistant Principals

• Katherine Faison, Retiree to Interim Assistant Principal at Lockhart Elementary
• Michael McCotter, Retiree to Interim Assistant Principal at Hunter Elementary
• Kimberly Mitchell, Retiree to Interim Assistant Principal at Parkside Elementary
