Important Information for Current 5th and 8th Grade Magnet Students and Rising Kindergarten Siblings of Magnet Students

If you have a student currently in 5th or 8th grade at a magnet school, you must submit a magnet application if you wish to continue at a magnet school at the next grade level. (This does not apply to 5th grade students with an older sibling in 6th and 7th grade at a magnet school or 8th grade students with an older sibling in 9th-11th grades at a magnet school. Those students have already been assigned to the same magnet school that the older sibling will attend next year.)

In addition, rising kindergarten siblings of magnet students currently in grades K-4 also must enroll and then submit a magnet application to attend the same school as the older sibling.

Submit applications at magnet.wcpss.net/apply. The deadline to apply is Jan. 27.
