Ms. Nayeli Campos-Franco
Hello! My name is Nayeli Campos-Franco. I was born and raised in the Carrboro/Chapel Hill area. I graduated from UNCG in 2020 with a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree, concentrating in Photography, and later earned my Art Education licensure from ECU. My parents are from Jalisco, Mexico, and I’m the middle of three sisters—my younger sister is starting her junior year of high school, and my older sister works for Durham County Schools. I also share my home with a very cute dog named Cosmo!
I am so excited to be teaching here at Millbrook Elementary! Since I was young, I’ve always found myself in classrooms—volunteering as a TA or helping as an assistant. Now, I look forward to meeting the amazing students at Millbrook and creating some incredible art together!
When I’m not in the classroom, you can find me running trails, exploring photography, visiting new coffee shops, shopping, and traveling. I’m also a big music lover and enjoy listening to just about every genre.
Why I love working with kids...
Because it’s exciting to see their creativity in action. Their unique interpretations often inspire my own future projects, and they always bring a fresh perspective to the classroom!
