Hi! My name is Erica Ferguson. I am so happy to be at Millbrook! This is my first year at Wake County Schools. I just moved here from Virginia, where I taught for 12 years. I am very excited about our Environmental Connections magnet theme and teaching 2nd grade.

I have a Boxer dog named Lincoln who goes almost everywhere with me! I love traveling and exploring new places, and seeing historic sites. I also enjoy spending time outdoors and enjoying nature. My favorite time of year is Fall and football season. Geaux Tigers!

Why I love our environmental theme...

I am excited to get to explore and investigate nature and the environment with my students across the curriculum. I am also excited for the variety of hands on experiences the students will get as well as outdoor learning opportunities.
