Update Your Address

If you move within Wake County during the school year, you have three options: remain at your current school for the remainder of the school year, attend the base school of your new address and request a transfer to a different school.

• To stay at your current school, update your address with the data manager at your current school. You will need to submit a transfer request if you wish to remain beyond the current school year. 
• To attend your new base school, update your address with the data manager at your new base school. 
• To request a transfer to a different school, submit a transfer request within 10 days of changing your address.

Transfer and magnet students who move to a new address will not be affected. Transportation options for magnet students may be impacted.
