• Summer Meals
     
    Our service to the community extends beyond the school year. During the summer, we sponsor schools and other organizations (feeding sites) in the Summer Food Service Program which is administered by the N.C. Department of Public Instruction.
     
    Through our partnership with our feeding sites, we are able to provide meals for children and teens up to the age of 18. Children do not have to be WCPSS students and they do not have to qualify for free or reduced-price meals at school.
     
    Organizations that would like to serve as feeding sites should contact us at 919-588-3523 for information. 
     

SUN BUCKS PROGRAM 2024

 SUN Bucks will provide grocery-buying benefits to qualifying families with school-aged children during the summer months when schools are on summer break.

Summer Meal Locations

Families can learn of sites where summer meals are available for children ages 0-18 by visiting wake.gov/summerfood.
