School Psychology
Who We Are
We are school psychologists serving more than 200 schools across Wake County. Most of us support two schools and work on 11 preschool evaluation teams.
We help students succeed by:
- Supporting academic achievement and mental health.
- Conducting evaluations for learning and behavioral needs.
- Providing counseling and targeted interventions.
- Partnering with educators, families, and community providers.
We also:
- Guide evidence-based practices.
- Analyze data to promote equitable outcomes.
- Support Individualized Education Programs (IEPs).
- Lead crisis response efforts.
- Foster safe, inclusive learning environments.
Purpose
To support every child’s educational and social-emotional growth in a safe, inclusive, and equitable environment.
Vision
