Kindergarten Partnerships and Participation
This virtual workshop shares tips for staying involved before, during, and after your child starts Kindergarten. You’ll learn how to:
- Advocate for your child
- Support learning at home
- Build a strong connection with the school
Details:
- 1-hour presentation plus 30 minutes for questions
- Offered twice a year
Positive Parenting Solutions
These online sessions help you build strong, caring relationships with your child. Learn ways to support their social and emotional growth. Each session lasts 1 hour and starts at noon.
Sessions include:
- Introduction – Overview of the series
- Keeping It Positive – Use play and clear directions
- Behavior Has Meaning – Understand your child’s behavior
- The Power of Routines – Create helpful routines
- Teach Me What to Do – Teach social skills and calming tools
- Responding with Purpose – Handle challenging behavior
- Putting It All Together – Make a plan to support your child
Hands-On Kindergarten Readiness at Home
This free, play-based workshop is for parents and pre-K children. You’ll learn fun activities to help your child get ready for kindergarten.
