    Kindergarten Partnerships and Participation

    This virtual workshop shares tips for staying involved before, during, and after your child starts Kindergarten. You’ll learn how to:

    • Advocate for your child
    • Support learning at home
    • Build a strong connection with the school

    Details:

    • 1-hour presentation plus 30 minutes for questions
    • Offered twice a year

    Positive Parenting Solutions

    These online sessions help you build strong, caring relationships with your child. Learn ways to support their social and emotional growth. Each session lasts 1 hour and starts at noon.

    Sessions include:

    • Introduction – Overview of the series
    • Keeping It Positive – Use play and clear directions
    • Behavior Has Meaning – Understand your child’s behavior
    • The Power of Routines – Create helpful routines
    • Teach Me What to Do – Teach social skills and calming tools
    • Responding with Purpose – Handle challenging behavior
    • Putting It All Together – Make a plan to support your child

    Hands-On Kindergarten Readiness at Home

    This free, play-based workshop is for parents and pre-K children. You’ll learn fun activities to help your child get ready for kindergarten.

    Kindergarten Readiness for Multilingual Families

    This virtual session supports families who speak a language other than English at home. Learn ways to help your child prepare for kindergarten while supporting both languages.
