Transition Activities

We know this is an exciting time for your family! Kindergarten is a creative, engaging environment where your child will develop a love of learning.

Students must be 5 years old on or before Aug. 31. While age is the main requirement, many families find it helpful to review common expectations for new students. Learn more from the N.C. Department of Public Instruction.

During the Kindergarten year, your child’s teacher will get to know them and plan lessons to meet their needs.
