There are a variety of WCPSS and community programs to support student academic and behavioral growth. Some of these programs include but are not limited to: Foster Grandparents, Y-Learning, Y-Achievers and Read and Feed. These programs are present at specific schools that demonstrate a need for the specific program objectives.
The state of North Carolina requires the development and implementation of Personal Education Plans (PEP) for students who are at risk of academic failure.
