Title VI Indian Education Program annual public hearing
Title VI – Indian Education Program will hold its Annual Public Hearing on Monday, April 29, 2024 from 6:30 - 8:00 P.M. This will be a Hybrid meeting. You may attend virtually or in person at the Indian Education Center: 201 Avery St. Garner, NC 27529.
This is an opportunity to learn about the Indian Education program and services offered to American Indian/Alaskan Native students. Meet program staff, other American Indian parents, students, tribal leaders, and community members. Listen to students share their experiences from summer camps, conferences and activities. Staff will report data about the achievements of our American Indian students compared to other students in the county as well as statewide.
The grant objectives will be reviewed for next year’s application and attendees will have an opportunity to discuss and have input to the objectives.
