Percentage of students who are effective communicators

  • Communication in all its forms - listening, speaking, writing, etc. - is one of the “4C” skills highlighted in the district’s Strategic Plan that students need to develop in order to be successful both inside and outside of school. In terms of success in the workplace, surveys of employers often point to the 4C skills of communication, collaboration, critical thinking, and creativity as being the most important skills to have and the skills that are most commonly lacking among typical job seekers. The data below show the percentage of teachers who say that the students in their school “communicate with each other in a respectful and productive manner”.
