Hello!  My name is Mary Maurer, and I am very excited to be the AIG teacher at Bryan Road Elementary. I am originally from Cleveland, Ohio (Go Buckeyes!!) and have lived in NC for 15 years now. I have been teaching for 13 years and have taught grades 2^nd through 5^th and have transitioned into gifted education, where I enjoy helping students explore their unique talents and think critically.  

 

Outside of school, I enjoy reading, being at the beach, listening to music, and cooking.  I love spending time with my boyfriend and my two wonderful kids, Emma and Avery.  Emma is a barber in Goldsboro and Avery is a sailor in the United States Navy currently stationed in San Diego, California.
