I am so excited to join the Bryan Road family! I am originally from Buffalo, NY (Go Bills!) where I got my bachelor’s in early childhood/childhood education from SUNY Cortland and am currently working on my Masters from SNHU.  I have 4 years’ experience teaching and have taught all grades K-4 but this is my first year in second grade! I have just moved to NC with my boyfriend and am so excited to be apart of this amazing school culture!

 When I am not at school, you can find me reading, hanging with my boyfriend and cat Nala, and exploring all that NC has. I also enjoy traveling and discovering new places and cultures. I also love to cook and bake creating new recipes, as well as watching football and hockey when that is on.

I believe the classroom should be a fun, hands-on learning experience for every student. When students step foot into the classroom they will know they can bring their ideas to life and mistakes will be embraced as the learning opportunities they are. I can’t wait for this year in second grade building relationships and creating memories with tons of fun activities and learning!!!
